What you will do

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Manage, train, and mentor managers, senior associates, and staff.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient acquisitions, divestments, and corporate restructurings.
• Perform complex tax analysis, including IRC Section 382 carry-forward limitation studies.
• Oversee tax compliance processes, including corporate consolidated and partnership returns.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships while managing engagement expectations and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation or LLM strongly preferred.
• Active CPA or JD/law license is mandatory.
• 8–12 years of progressive federal tax consulting or compliance experience.
• 5–7 years of specific M&A tax services and due diligence experience.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, tax accounting, and consolidated federal/state tax returns.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.
