What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Leverage and contribute to AI-powered development tools.
• Work in an agile environment practicing CI/CD and operational responsibilities including on-call duties.

Requirements

• Must be onsite in Brisbane, Australia.
• Currently a penultimate year student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field.
• Available full-time for internship from December 2026 to February 2027.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Nice to have

• Previous technical internship or project experience.
• Experience with AI tools, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
