What you will do

  • Build and maintain structured account plans for strategic government targets, mapping priorities, budgets, procurement vehicles, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and produce briefs to inform sales strategy.
  • Analyze pipeline and support sales enablement with data-driven account health and opportunity sizing.
  • Serve as operational expert on government contracting, procurement pathways, and agency structures.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks and documentation to scale government account operations.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience inside government agencies at local, county, or state level.
  • Fluency in government procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and budget cycles.
  • Strong policy research and synthesis skills to translate legislation into sales implications.
  • Analytical rigor with experience using public data sources and CRM data.
  • Experience in strategic account planning beyond contact lists.
