What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Support Engineers, defining career paths and managing performance.
• Maintain an active role in the codebase, writing and reviewing scripts/code (Python, Go, or Bash) to automate tool administration and internal workflows.
• Oversee the team’s backlog, ensuring a balance between long-term platform improvements and immediate technical support needs.
• Serve as the strategic owner for Jira and Confluence, designing scalable workflows, complex automation rules, and governance models for 1,000+ users.
• Oversee the enterprise-level administration of GitHub, TeamCity, and Artifactory.
• Manage enterprise relationships and licensing budgets for the entire dev-tooling ecosystem.

Requirements

• 7+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering, with 2+ years of formal people management experience.
• Proven experience managing and scaling developer toolchains for an organization of 1,000+ engineers.
• Expert-level Jira/Confluence administration and workflow customization.
• Deep experience with GitHub Enterprise (Actions/APIs), TeamCity, and Artifactory.
• Familiarity with administering enterprise security platforms (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Wiz, Prisma).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby and experience managing infrastructure via Terraform or Ansible.
