What you will do

• Participate in full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, building, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with a distributed, self-motivated team using remote and asynchronous communication.
• Iteratively improve the product aligned with design and architectural principles.
• Promote automation through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment.
• Work flexibly across technologies beyond your core specialism when needed.

Requirements

• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software design patterns and paradigms such as OOP, DDD, MVC, microservices, containers, and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to write straightforward, well-tested code and take ownership of tasks.
• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with at least 50% office presence in Bristol, UK.
• Experience with investment or pensions platforms is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Go, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, TypeScript, Vue, Dart, and Flutter.
