What you will do

• Lead and grow the Builder Tools engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and setting outcomes.
• Own and improve the developer experience by defining SLOs, building cost models, and measuring developer experience rigorously.
• Collaborate with domain experts and other R&D teams to drive strategic initiatives and deliver high-impact projects.
• Integrate modern AI-assisted developer tooling and eliminate manual work to raise quality and efficiency.
• Make architecture decisions, review designs, and remove technical risks while empowering the team.
• Evangelize tooling improvements and remove organizational barriers to adoption.

Requirements

• Location: Dublin, Ireland with hybrid work requiring office presence at least three days per week.
• Experience leading infrastructure, platform, or developer experience teams in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Strong product sense for developer experience and ability to measure it.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex initiatives across multiple teams and projects.
• Deep knowledge of modern web and distributed systems focusing on reliability, performance, and failure modes.
• Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders and prioritize engineering trade-offs.
• Comfort with data-driven decision making and defining metrics.
• AI-first mindset with experience driving AI adoption and experiments.
