Salary: €4,931 - €7,043 gross monthly for 36 hours per week, plus 13th month, 8% holiday allowance, and 10% Employee Benefit Budget.

What you will do

• Design and build Life Cycle management systems delivering standardized backend modules at scale.
• Own full DevOps lifecycle: CI/CD, automated testing, deployments, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Engineer for scale and performance including partitioning, caching, resiliency, and back-pressure.
• Enhance observability using Splunk, SignalFx, Dynatrace, and PagerDuty.
• Champion security and quality with SAST and dependency hygiene tools.
• Collaborate with feature teams, mentor, refine technical specifications, and improve documentation.
• Contribute to architecture by challenging assumptions and co-creating solutions.
• Continuously improve templates, starter kits, libraries, and golden paths for fast and correct development.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years experience building backend applications with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot or platform engineering for these applications.
• Strong DevOps mindset including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, deployments, monitoring, and alerting.
• Ownership, collaboration, and clear communication skills with stakeholder management.
• Architectural thinking and confidence to challenge and collaborate with architects.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a bias for simplicity.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Must be located in the Netherlands with legal right to work; no relocation support.

• Containerization knowledge.
• Cloud Foundry operations and patterns.
• Azure Entra ID experience.
• Azure DevOps at scale (pipelines, multi-stage, environments).
• SSL/TLS certificate automation experience.
