What you will do

• Design, build, and improve secure, scalable backend services for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop high-performance REST APIs connecting digital channels with core financial systems.
• Improve customer-facing product overview and preference functionality.
• Contribute to platform resilience, performance, and overall maintainability.
• Drive technical improvements and help shape backend engineering best practices within the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and maintaining resilient distributed systems.
• Proficiency with messaging platforms such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Fluent English proficiency as the team is international and works fully in English.

Nice to have

• Solid SQL and relational database experience (Oracle is a plus).
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic.
• Comfort working with Linux and basic shell scripting.
