Senior Security Engineer (Enterprise Security)

Senior Security Engineer (Enterprise Security): Implement and maintain enterprise security measures and privacy protections for hirify.global's corporate environment with an accent on zero-trust architecture, identity and access management, and endpoint security. Focus on designing secure systems, deploying security tools, and fostering a security-conscious culture within a hybrid work setting in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Hybrid work with 1-2 days per week in office required.

Salary: $196,000–$220,500 USD base per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement security measures to protect company data from unauthorized access and misuse.
• Partner with Detection & Response team to maintain visibility into enterprise access, networks, and devices.
• Deploy and manage security tools across corporate infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce security standards and IT policies.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.
• Build secure environments using modern principles like zero-trust network architecture without traditional VPNs.

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years experience in Enterprise Security as senior individual contributor or lead.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
• 3+ years programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management systems (Okta, Kolide, Teleport, Cloudflare Access).
• Deep understanding of data security in enterprise environments and zero-trust architecture.
• Experience deploying Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, and device trust tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM tools (Panther).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud and Cloudflare.
• Experience managing macOS, ChromeOS, and Windows environments using Jamf, Intune, and Crowdstrike.
