What you will do

• Learn about users, systems, and security posture to support product and business goals.
• Assist security assessments of code and infrastructure changes ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Automate recurring security and compliance activities like vulnerability scanning and risk assessments.
• Create and tune monitoring and alerts for security operations and incident response.
• Maintain security tools and documentation, and participate in incident response exercises.
• Collaborate across teams to support projects that reduce risk and improve security posture.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a relevant degree or have equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, JavaScript).
• Interest in risk management and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and a continuous learning mindset.
