Salary: $162,000 — $186,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform security incident investigations using digital forensics and data analytics.
• Hunt for threats in corporate and production environments to proactively identify anomalous activity.
• Build automation and detection models to identify and mitigate threats at scale.
• Design advanced detection solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Coordinate large-scale responses with cross-functional partners including Legal and Privacy.
• Identify infrastructure gaps and enhance visibility through logging and detection.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in security operations (incident response, forensics, threat hunting, or detection engineering).
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong experience with SQL and Pandas.
• Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Experience automating security detection and response processes.
• Must reside in a US state where hirify.global, Inc. is a registered entity.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
