Sr Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks from scratch for web and native mobile applications.
• Develop automated UI, regression, and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Build native iOS and Android automation with Appium or similar frameworks and integrate testing with BrowserStack.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines for pull requests, nightly builds, and releases.
• Establish coding standards, reusable components, Page Object Model or Screen Object Model patterns, and maintainable test architecture.
• Implement reporting dashboards and provide insights into coverage, failure trends, and product quality metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• 5+ years of experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and BrowserStack is mandatory.
• Experience with web UI automation, end-to-end testing, mobile automation, and Appium.
• Strong programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD integration, Git workflows, pull-request testing, and maintainable automation design patterns.

Nice to have

• Performance and load testing experience with k6 or Apache JMeter.
• API automation testing experience.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps teams.
• Experience implementing test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.
