What you will do

• Conduct risk assessments to identify, analyse, and document financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks across the business.
• Maintain and enhance hirify.global’s Process, Risk & Control (PRC) Inventory, ensuring risks and controls are clearly documented and aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Perform compliance testing and monitoring activities across Compliance and business functions, identifying control gaps and tracking remediation.
• Support global regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring policies, procedures, and controls align with applicable laws and industry standards.
• Prepare clear, data-driven reporting and risk insights for senior leadership to support decision-making and governance oversight.
• Stay informed on emerging crypto-related regulatory developments and evolving risk trends, proactively highlighting potential impacts to the business.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance, ideally within fintech, financial services, or crypto.
• Direct professional experience in cryptocurrency.
• Experience with risk and compliance requirements in various EU jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess moderately complex risk and compliance scenarios and propose practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into effective controls.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications (CRMP, CRCM, CCEP, CAMS, or similar).
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
• Professional fluency in Dutch.
