What you will do

• Own end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and monthly close commentary for R&D, including software and cloud infrastructure spend.
• Partner with R&D and People Operations to manage headcount strategy and capacity scenarios for a global organization.
• Develop unit-economics models to explain AI cost bases (cost per active user/feature/inference) and drive unit cost reductions.
• Build financial cases for major R&D investments, such as build-vs-buy decisions for AI tooling and infrastructure commits.
• Prototype AI-powered finance operations to automate variance analysis, reporting, and modeling workflows.
• Prepare board and executive leadership materials, translating complex economics into clear strategic narratives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, strategic FP&A, or BizOps.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam hub (Hybrid).
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis, unit economics, and cohort analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior technical stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Infrastructure).
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription revenue dynamics.
• Strong interest in AI/cloud cost dynamics and utilizing AI tools for financial productivity.
