Salary: $192,500 - $269,400 USD + incentives + equity + 401K + medical, dental, vision, life insurance

What you will do
- Manage and mentor a team of 4-7 software engineers, driving best practices and growth plans
- Own roadmap and delivery of developer tooling and AI-assisted workflows used by multiple teams
- Define and ship agentic AI experiences to automate Unreal Engine workflows for developers
- Partner with leadership to improve team health, effectiveness, and cross-team collaboration
- Define and track metrics for developer experience and productivity, iterating on tools based on feedback
- Lead sourcing and hiring processes to grow the engineering team
Requirements
- Must be located in Los Angeles, USA (onsite, Los Angeles only)
- 7+ years professional experience as a software engineer in game development
- 3+ years experience as an Engineering Manager leading engineers
- Technical leadership experience in tooling, platform, or AI-backed products
- Experience recruiting and growing engineering teams
- Participation in technical design and code reviews
Nice to have
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience shipping software to customers
- Experience with automation
