Salary (Illinois): $120,600–$178,500 per Year. Salary (Toronto): $114,300–$169,140 per Year.

What you will do

• Define, architect, and develop features and gameplay functionality using Unity and C#.
• Develop and integrate new technologies and tools, collaborating with content teams.
• Dive into and extend core systems as needed.
• Iterate on new or existing functionality and UI/UX.
• Proactively optimize code and memory for high performance simulations under tight constraints.
• Scope out large tasks, delegate work, and lead multi-week or month-long engineering efforts.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education/work experience.
• 6+ years of game industry / mobile app experience as a software developer.
• Shipped titles and/or live games experience.
• Expert knowledge in C#, C/C++, or a similar programming language.
• 3+ years of Unity experience.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software methodologies.
• English: B2 required with excellent communication skills for a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization.
• Mobile development experience with a focus on iOS & Android.
