What you will do

• Analyze e-commerce merchant applications including business models, jurisdictions, MCC codes, and fraud risk profiles.
• Use risk and reputation tools like Webshield and Similarweb to assess digital footprints and high-risk associations.
• Conduct KYB/KYC assessments in collaboration with compliance, verifying corporate structures and documents.
• Document onboarding decisions including setting limits and reserve requirements.
• Collaborate closely with sales, onboarding, monitoring, and compliance teams to improve underwriting policies.
• Monitor active merchants’ transaction activity and risk KPIs, initiating reviews as needed.

Requirements

• Must communicate clearly in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken)
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week from Vilnius office
• 2+ years experience in merchant underwriting, risk analysis, or onboarding in e-commerce/fintech/payment sectors.
• Experience with Webshield or similar tools and Similarweb for traffic analysis.
• Knowledge of card processing with Visa and Mastercard, including compliance and escalation procedures.
• Proactive, organized, and confident in making informed underwriting decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in acquiring, payment facilitation, or card scheme operations.
• Merchant onboarding experience, PCI DSS knowledge, and direct interaction with Visa/Mastercard.
