Java Developer (Hybrid- Flexible Options)

TL;DR

Java Software Engineer: Developing new features and functionality using Java, SQL, Snowflake, Spring Batch, and Angular with an accent on data design, testing, and technical design. Focus on re-engineering current systems for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality.

Location: Hybrid, must be able to work in the office 2 days a week in Edgewood, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Newark, NJ, Kansas City, MO, or Boston, MA.

Salary: $130,000.00-$140,000.00

What you will do

• Analyze, craft, and implement new features using Java, SQL, Snowflake, Spring Batch, and Angular.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and provide timely communication of status to team leads.
• Gather requirements, propose solutions, and create design documents.
• Collaborate with the project lead to identify problems and suggest coding solutions.
• Re-engineer current systems for flexibility, stability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Java, Angular, SQL, and web services.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and Spring Batch.
• Strong data analysis, design, and testing skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Understanding and experience in Agile development.
