What you will do

• Assess and improve security posture across applications, infrastructure, and workflows.
• Own identity and access management including authentication, authorization, and M2M security.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and build internal security tooling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security without slowing delivery.
• Lead security standards, mentorship, and influence engineering teams.
• Stay current on security best practices and apply industry frameworks pragmatically.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Canada (Vancouver preferred).
• 5–7+ years experience as Security Engineer or Software Engineer with security focus.
• Strong background in application security, infrastructure security, and secure CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management and security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Familiarity with cloud security tools and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong communication skills to translate complex security concepts clearly.

• Experience designing or migrating identity architecture at scale.
• Experience building internal developer security tooling.
