Chief Compliance Officer — Crypto / Digital Assets (Series B+)
We’re partnering with a high-growth digital asset fintech (Series B+) that is looking to bring on a Chief Compliance Officer to help lead the company through its next phase of scale and regulatory expansion.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true executive leadership role at a company building regulated crypto and payments infrastructure, with a strong focus on U.S. regulatory strategy and MTL licensing.
You would:
• Own the company’s global compliance strategy across crypto, payments, and money transmission
• Lead the buildout and management of U.S. Money Transmitter License (MTL) programs and regulatory relationships
• Oversee AML/BSA, sanctions, and transaction monitoring frameworks across the platform
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams on launching new digital asset and payment products
• Manage regulator engagement and examinations with state regulators, FinCEN, and other U.S. authorities
• Build and scale the compliance organization as the company expands into new jurisdictions
The company is looking for a leader who has:
✔ Experience as a CCO, Deputy CCO, or senior compliance leader within crypto, fintech, or payments
✔ Deep familiarity with MTL licensing, BSA/AML programs, and U.S. state regulatory frameworks
✔ Experience building or scaling compliance infrastructure in a high-growth digital asset environment
✔ Strong regulator engagement experience and comfort operating at the executive leadership level
