TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA, 5x per week

Salary: $31.25 to $34.62 USD/hourly

What you will do

• Perform power, performance, and thermal measurements on hardware platforms in a lab environment.
• Run structured experiments and collect data to support performance characterization and system analysis.
• Assist in silicon characterization efforts including test plan execution and validation.
• Set up and operate test equipment such as DAQ systems and thermal chillers.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate benchmarking, data collection, and analysis workflows.
• Document findings and collaborate with engineering partners to drive system improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related field).
• 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience collecting power and performance data in a hardware lab environment.
• Basic understanding of thermal test setups and measurement principles.
• Experience using DAQ systems, thermal chillers, or similar lab instrumentation.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation using Python or .NET/C#.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to performance, power, or thermal characterization workflows.
• Hands-on experience with noise, thermal chambers, or other environmental test setups.
• Experience creating automated pipelines for benchmarking or data analysis.
• Familiarity with computer simulation tools for hardware modeling.
• Experience modifying or validating prototype hardware systems in a structured test environment.
