What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, helping them grow in ownership, performance, and long-term career development.
• Create a high-trust environment where people can learn in action, make decisions with confidence, and do their best work together.
• Help the team stay focused and effective as priorities evolve, new opportunities emerge, and AI continues to reshape how products are built.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align on priorities, trade-offs, and what success looks like.
• Support architectural and delivery decisions across your area, helping the team make sound trade-offs around scalability, reliability, and speed.

Requirements

• First-line engineering management experience: At least 2 years of experience directly leading engineers in a growing product organization.
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, giving feedback, and supporting career growth.
• Comfortable in fast-moving environments, helping the team stay focused and confident.
• Hands-on experience as a software engineer with the ability to mentor engineers and contribute to system discussions.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS company, building strong teams and scaling with intention.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript / Node.js.
• Interest in open-source or developer tooling.
• Exposure to AI-native products or AI features.
