Software Developer In Test - Assistant Vice President (Fintech)

TL;DR

Salary: $110,000 to $130,000

What you will do

• Build and implement robust automated test suites.
• Integrate automated test suites with current build and deployment processes.
• Maintain automated tests to reflect updates in system design and architecture.
• Implement the automation framework with existing tools (JIRA).
• Create, manage, and utilize defect workflows with automated test execution.
• Perform functional, API, automation, performance and load testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with QA engineering delivery experience.
• 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC teams ideally with CICD.
• Programming experience in Java with focus on behavior driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) and design patterns, ideally within continuous integration (CICD).
• Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Proficient in CI/CD technologies such as Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, and Docker.

Nice to have

• AI Integration experience is preferred.
• Exposure to banking or finance environments is preferred.
• Prior experience testing ETL processes is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools including JUnit, RestAssured, Playwright, Protractor, and JMeter.
