What you will do

• Own the Guides & Surveys product, technical direction, execution, and team leadership.
• Ship high-quality, scalable code and systems handling billions of user events.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and Tech Leads to solve customer pain points.
• Hire, grow, and retain top engineering talent, fostering a productive team culture.
• Drive architecture and code quality decisions balancing speed and scalability.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years engineering experience and 2+ years mobile experience, including team management in fast-paced environments.
• Experience shipping complex, high-impact products with strong opinions on architecture and code quality.
• Mastery of modern tech stack including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and AWS.
• Embraced AI technologies and actively contribute code.
• Must be based in the United States due to location-specific salary and benefits.
• Strong product sense and interest or experience in behavioral analytics.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling startup products from 0 to 1 or during rapid growth phases.
• Ability to write code when appropriate and empower the team effectively.
