What you will do

• Lead design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning systems with scalable pipelines for inference, analytics, and real-time processing.
• Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to solve product challenges using data-driven models focused on user behavior and operational improvements.
• Oversee prototyping, experimentation, and iteration to validate AI solutions and translate data insights into product recommendations.
• Establish best practices for AI operations including data quality, model monitoring, and cross-team collaboration.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and developers fostering innovation and product-oriented thinking.
• Contribute directly to code and system architecture ensuring production-ready AI solutions integrated with cloud tools.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada (Mississauga) with hybrid work model
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data science, statistics, or related field.
• 8+ years experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or applied AI roles with production AI feature delivery.
• 4+ years managing and mentoring data science and ML engineering teams.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Expertise in pragmatic AI applications such as machine learning, time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
