TL;DR

Azure Infrastructure Engineer: Building and optimizing core Azure infrastructure to support a secure cloud migration program with an accent on Azure Landing Zones, virtual networks, and cloud security. Focus on designing scalable, governed Azure environments and collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers.

Location: Huddersfield / Remote (UK only)

What you will do

Design and implement Azure Landing Zones following best practices.
Build and configure Virtual Networks and networking components.
Support workload onboarding into Azure aligned with architecture.
Collaborate with internal IT team and third-party suppliers.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom or able to work remotely within the UK
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Landing Zones.
Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, peering) and cloud security principles.
Ability to work autonomously in a contract role with minimal oversight.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Nice to have

Experience with VWAN and Azure SQL.
