What you will do

• Execute manual functional and regression test cases for web-based and desktop applications.
• Validate bug fixes and enhancements against requirements.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects using issue-tracking systems.
• Write clear bug reports with reproducible steps and evidence.
• Follow QA processes, test plans, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in software QA or testing in a professional environment.
• Hands-on manual testing experience including web and desktop applications.
• Familiarity with front-end (JavaScript, jQuery) and back-end concepts (APIs, PHP, MySQL).
• Knowledge of XML content formats; DITA experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile Scrum teams and Git source control.
• Must be located onsite in San Mateo, CA, United States.

Nice to have

• Linguistic QA experience and/or experience working with Japan-based teams.
• Familiarity with content management or publishing workflows.
