What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain manual and automated test coverage across Petcare applications.
  • Perform hands-on automation testing for web workflows and APIs.
  • Manage quality across functional, regression, integration, and release testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear analysis and impact.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to define requirements and release readiness.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as TestRigor and Postman.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and SDLC.
  • Experience testing complex SaaS applications and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be based in Austin, TX (Hybrid work format).

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with data-driven applications or complex workflow systems.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
  • Prior experience in informal leadership roles or taking ownership of QA initiatives.
