Salary: 29,000–36,833 PLN gross per month

What you will do

• Reduce latency and cost of retrieval systems to enhance AI feature performance
• Improve search result quality and relevance for users
• Expand retrieval capabilities to new hirify.global objects and third-party data sources
• Build and optimize search infrastructure using OpenSearch/ElasticSearch
• Contribute to ML-powered features such as embeddings-based retrieval and semantic search
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in New York and Warsaw

Requirements

• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland
• 6+ years of production software engineering experience
• Experience with search engineering, OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
• Familiarity with embeddings and ML approaches to search and retrieval
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
• English proficiency at least B2 level
