Senior Data Integration Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Integration Engineer (Fintech): Designing and building stable, scalable, near real-time, and reliable data replication solutions based on BMC Helix with an accent on data architecture, integrity, and quality. Focus on developing robust data pipelines, optimizing performance, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.

Location: Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 3 days per week from the office). The role requires visits to Gdańsk for team workshops at least once a month (for 2–3 days each time).

Salary: 1100 - 1300 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design and build stable, scalable, near real-time, and reliable BMC Helix data replication solutions.
• Build, design, and maintain data architecture to ensure complete data collection, integrity, and quality.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing recommendations to IT and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in a similar data integration role.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, data storage, data security, and ETL processes (SSIS, Snowflake).
• Professional experience with SQL (T-SQL preferred), Python, and Apache Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Dataverse.
• Lean-Agile trained or certified (Scrum or SAFe).
• English: C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with IT Service Management data integrations (BMC Helix preferred).
• Master’s degree in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification or proven experience in IT Service Management.
