What you will do

  • Lead a cross-functional squad delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing software systems.
  • Provide technical direction, architecture design, and conduct code reviews.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture.
  • Drive agile ceremonies and coordinate sprint planning and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to plan and deliver impactful features.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and align squad work with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or near Richmond, UK (hybrid work format).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in product-led environments.
  • Strong skills in system architecture and scalable distributed systems.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with leadership and mentoring.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with Product and Design teams.
  • English proficiency: at least B2 level.
