What you will do

• Designing and building a safe working environment, focusing on process standardisations
• Leading the evolution of the global Health & Safety Management System to align with company growth
• Ensuring compliance with local and international health and safety regulations
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing offices
• Innovating and improving systems by monitoring performance and investigating incidents
• Collaborating with teams as a subject matter expert in health and safety

Requirements

• A Safety Officer certification in Portugal (Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho)
• Fluency in English
• Experience as a Safety Manager in a global organisation
• A deep understanding of health and safety principles, regulatory compliance, and EHS best practices
• Solid knowledge of risk management and assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech
• Familiarity with global employee safety and duty of care
• Proficiency in Google Sheets
• Knowledge of JavaScript (automation/scripting)
