TL;DR

Screening Escalations Analyst (Compliance): Act as L3 Compliance for receiving and resolving name screening alerts on PEP, Adverse Media, and Sanctions that cannot be handled by L1/L2 with an accent on Open Source Intelligence research and risk assessment. Focus on providing actionable advice to stakeholders, critically evaluating compliance processes, and reviewing escalated FCC/Sanctions/AB&C risk profiles.

What you will do

• Act as L3 Compliance expert for financial crime, receiving escalated name screening alerts on PEP, Adverse Media, and Sanctions.
• Conduct Open Source Intelligence research and perform risk assessments on potential true positives, presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Provide actionable advice on managing financial crime, sanctions, and AB&C risks, keeping stakeholders informed of developments.
• Critically evaluate processes for identifying, documenting, and assessing compliance risks associated with hirify.global activities.
• Review escalated FCC/Sanctions/AB&C risk profiles from internal teams and assess their impact on projects, policies, and systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial crime or sanctions compliance.
• Knowledge of banking business, processes, procedures, and systems.
• University degree.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, sound judgment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information.
• Ability to work under tight timelines, prioritize independently, and manage stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in startup or fintech industry.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification.
