What you will do

• Own and deliver search platform initiatives end-to-end aligned with platform OKRs.
• Translate product and engineering needs into clear platform requirements balancing flexibility and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to evolve search stack architecture for reliability and scalability.
• Work with other teams to integrate search capabilities into product workflows and AI experiences.
• Improve developer experience through documentation, onboarding, and feedback loops.
• Define and track platform health metrics to guide prioritization and roadmap development.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London or Amsterdam or able to work hybrid from these locations
• Experience with platform or infrastructure products serving multi-team stakeholders, ideally in search or data-intensive environments.
• Familiarity with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, vector search, or graph-based systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams in ambiguous technical environments.
