What you will do

• Translate system-level quantum specifications into circuit simulations (classical and quantum).
• Oversee layout implementation.
• Conduct analysis and characterization targeted at superconducting quantum hardware using industry-standard software platforms such as Virtuoso, Spectre, and Clarity.
• Collaborate effectively internally and directly engage with end-users.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in quantum engineering.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams to develop integrated Quantum Design Automation solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Must be based in San Jose.

Nice to have

• PhD in quantum engineering or a related field is highly valued.
• Familiarity with alternative quantum hardware modalities, including neutral atoms, trapped ions, and photonic systems, is advantageous.
