What you will do
- Create and manage social content calendars across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, ensuring consistent cadence and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Schedule and publish content, ensuring every post meets brand, platform, and accessibility standards.
- Write and adapt platform-native social copy, maintaining Dove's tone of voice.
- Monitor social channels daily, respond to comments, messages, and engage proactively to foster community.
- Track trending topics, cultural moments, and platform features, flagging relevant opportunities and drafting reactive content.
- Track and report on social content performance across platforms, using analytics to identify trends and inform future content decisions.
- Collaborate with creative teams, content creators, and the Dove brand team on day-to-day social activity.
- Stay current with social platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats, sharing relevant developments with the team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management for consumer brands, ideally in beauty, personal care, wellness, or FMCG.
- Native German (C2) and fluent English (C1 spoken and written).
- Strong platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
- Experience managing social content calendars and publishing workflows across multiple platforms.
- Solid copywriting skills, with the ability to write platform-native social copy.
- Experience with community management, including responding to comments and engaging with audiences.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and native platform analytics.
- Ability to track and report on social performance metrics, understanding how they inform content decisions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Basic proficiency with Gen AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copy.ai, Grammarly) to support copy drafting and content ideation.
Nice to have
- Experience working on Dove or Unilever brands.
- Experience in an in-house agency, embedded studio, or social-specialist environment.
- An editorial background or experience writing long-form and short-form content for social.
- Experience working with influencer or creator content within a publishing workflow.
- Familiarity with social listening tools and basic audience research.
