Location: Flexible hybrid setup between home and our carbon-neutral Amsterdam office. Work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year (max. 4 consecutive weeks, including up to 4 weeks outside the EU). Must be based and eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What you will do
- Lead the full design lifecycle, from initial user research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery in Figma.
- Translate the intricacies of the energy market into intuitive, easy-to-navigate digital experiences.
- Actively contribute to and evolve the design system.
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers and Engineers to find the sweet spot between technical feasibility and user delight.
- Set up A/B tests and usability sessions, using hard data and human feedback to refine your designs.
- Act as a mentor for junior and medior designers, fostering a high-performing design culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a digital/consumer product environment, with a portfolio showcasing complex UX problem-solving.
- Mastery of Figma and a deep understanding of how to work within and contribute to a living design system.
- Comfortable conducting usability tests and translating analytics, NPS, and A/B test results into design improvements.
- Proactive in driving work forward and ensuring the right problems are solved.
- Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge and helping those around you grow.
