Salary: $146,000–$204,500

What you will do

• Design and implement low-latency risk decisioning systems and automated remediation workflows.
• Deploy and operate ML-powered capabilities in production, collaborating with Data Science teams on features and monitoring.
• Integrate Generative and Agentic AI to accelerate attack detection and mitigation.
• Modernize platform components, including data pipelines, microservices, and CI/CD controls.
• Implement and maintain SLOs, observability, and rollback mechanisms.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across the ecosystem.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Austin, TX and able to work onsite 3+ days/week.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering with significant experience operating ML/AI solutions in production.
• Proven experience building and debugging LLM and multi-agent applications (LangChain, LangGraph).
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLM providers.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, system design, API design, and cloud-native engineering.

Nice to have

• Proven experience in fraud and risk systems development.
• Expertise in graph/sequence modeling at scale.
• Background in marketplace or e-commerce domains.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and capacity planning.
