What you will do

• Conduct QAN/QAR audits to verify manufacturer and factory compliance to EN/ISO/IEC 80079-34, IECEx 02, ISO 9001:2015, and other relevant requirements.
• Review client QAN/QAR submissions and prepare audit schedules, agendas, and supporting materials.
• Compile audit reports and technical documentation, clearly documenting findings and NCRs.
• Review and evaluate client NCR responses, verifying the effectiveness of proposed corrective actions.
• Prepare QAN and QAR certificates in strict accordance with IECEx and ATEX regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with audit, inspection, and operations teams to develop annual QAN/QAR audit schedules and complete peer reviews.
• Maintain audit traceability, ensuring evidence is appropriately collected, stored, and secured.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS or equivalent degree.
• ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification from an IRCA or equivalent certified coursework provider.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with IECEx/ATEX manufacturer or Hazardous location conformity assessment bodies.
• Working knowledge of NRTL, ATEX, and IECEx regulatory requirements and various Ex protection methods.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office 365 applications.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with excellent attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Authorized IECEx Quality Assessment Report (QAR) auditor.
• Prior experience in conducting or participating in internal and external audits.
• Prior experience reviewing IECEx and ATEX technical reports (ExTRs).
• Good working knowledge of intrinsically safe design.
