Senior Environment Artist (Gamedev): Defining the vision and identity of an entirely new universe, shaping breathtaking worlds for a new IP (Project Hadar), with an accent on creating original photorealistic textures and immersive lighting. Focus on cooperating with Level Designers and Concept Artists to put finishing touches on locations and cutscenes.

Location: In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation to Poland is required.

Salary: 17 800 – 28 105 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Create ideas and plans for locations/levels for a new game.
• Create original photorealistic textures using various tools and middleware.
• Set up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
• Create immersive lighting and environmental effects.
• Cooperate effectively with Level Designers, Concept Artists, and other team members involved in creating locations.
• Put finishing touches on locations and cutscenes with existing meshes and decals.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience working in the video game industry.
• At least one shipped AAA title.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and a leading modeling package (3DS Max, Maya, Blender, etc.).
• Good knowledge of composition, colour theory, and lighting.
• Experience with procedural content creation packages (Substance, Houdini, World Machine).
• Fluent English.
• Passion for games.
