Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid working, requiring 60% office attendance in Madrid, Spain, and 40% remote work from home. There is an option to work for 20 days abroad in approved countries.

What you will do

• Drive the DevOps mindset and culture within the company.
• Provide support to development teams for system-related tasks, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
• Coach teams on DevOps tools, methodologies, and procedures, adapting to different maturity levels.
• Support the operations of critical services.
• Promote and implement best practices across teams.
• Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Seasoned Senior DevOps professional experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS services (IAM, EC2, RDS, VPC, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFront).
• Familiarity with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins (Pipeline DSL), Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Rust.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Maintain a communicative level of English.
• On-call support experience (monthly rotation).

Nice to have

• Experience with Monitoring Platforms (ELK, Influx/Grafana, Sensu/Prometheus).
• Knowledge of Databases like Postgres and SSO solutions like Keycloak.
• Passion for automating everything.
• Comfort with the concept of cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor and train others on best practices.
