Location: Hybrid in Denver, San Francisco, or New York City, US. Employees are expected to work from the office approximately 2-3 days per week. Travel to hirify.global’s Denver office is required for onboarding. Remote work is available for most US locations.

Salary: $189,000–$236,000/yr (Denver & most remote locations) or $223,000–$278,000/yr (San Francisco, Seattle & New York).

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship services and APIs for money movement and financial integrations.
• Work on payments, settlements, reconciliation, and corrections involving customer funds.
• Build and support compliance-critical workflows like payroll integration and KYC/KYB.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party providers.
• Partner with product, compliance, and operations to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability, observability, and operational tooling.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production products or platforms.
• Strong experience with services, APIs, and data-heavy workflows.
• Experience working on financial systems, payments, or other high-correctness domains.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, including production support.
• Experience working closely with PMs and cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails (or a comparable backend framework).
