Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Salary: $152,405—$179,300 USD

What you will do

• Design and implement new financing products and features.
• Create and build new reporting, monitoring, tools, frameworks, and APIs.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to develop a tangible roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• You have at least 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
• You’ve designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services.
• You write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.
• You’re passionate about building an open financial system.

Nice to have

• You have experience with Blockchains (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..)
• You have experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
• You’ve worked with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB or Redshift.
• You’ve built financial, high reliability or security systems.
