Salary: $264,000 - $308,000

What you will do

• Partner with the crypto team to build and execute communications plans that attract crypto founders and help market crypto more broadly.
• Advise portfolio companies and their founders on company launch and positioning, media strategy, issues management, and internal communications.
• Build strong industry and media networks to support portfolio companies and the firm.
• Work with the crypto research and engineering team to amplify and translate their work.
• Collaborate with events and editorial/content teams on broader marketing initiatives.
• Create and update resources to facilitate effective outbound communications in the web3 space.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in communications with expertise in media relations, executive communications, crisis communications.
• Experience working in or strong interest in immersing yourself in crypto.
• Strong partnership skills to build trusted connections.
• Self-starter with strong ability to build from 0-1 and drive meaningful results.
• High EQ: able to persuade, influence, and build trust at the executive level.
• The ability to attend quarterly offsites and travel as needed.
