What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-velocity team of Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs).
• Act as the primary advocate for the customer within the engineering organization, synthesizing field requirements into actionable signals.
• Standardize deployment methodologies to ensure repeatable, secure, and production-grade implementations.
• Provide senior technical guidance and unblock the team from complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to manage technical expectations post-sales.
• Travel often up to 25-50%, as needed, to client sites.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering or solutions architecture, with at least 2+ years in formal management or lead capacity.
• Proficiency in reading code (Python, Java, TypeScript, etc.) and discussing APIs.
• Ability to communicate business ROI to a customer’s VP of Engineering.
• Experience in creating playbooks, automation scripts, or documentation for deployment.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), data pipelines, and enterprise security (SSO, RBAC).
• Demonstrated composure and problem-solving skills under pressure during high-stakes deployments.
