TL;DR

Field Marketing Manager (B2B Technology): Owns and drives the audience-centric marketing strategy and execution of complex field programs to generate pipeline and accelerate revenue for key accounts, with an accent on strategic sales partnership and advanced data analysis. Focus on end-to-end program leadership for high-impact field engagements and ensuring flawless onsite white-glove experiences.

Location: This role will ideally be based in Austin, TX. Requires ability to travel domestically (~30%) for onsite execution.

What you will do

  • Independently determine and drive marketing objectives based on deep audience segmentation.
  • Act as a strategic consultant and peer to Sales Directors and VPs, anticipating business needs and resolving complex pipeline issues.
  • Own the full lifecycle of high-impact field engagements, including white-glove hosted events, executive dinners, and industry partner activations.
  • Analyze industry data sources, persona insights, and complex funnel data to proactively pivot plans and advise on investment priorities.
  • Serve as the primary owner for onsite execution, ensuring a flawless white-glove experience and driving face-to-face influence.
  • Integrate field activities with broader account-based strategies to reinforce digital and direct mail campaigns.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the marketing team, sharing best practices and elevating execution standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Demand Generation within a B2B technology environment.
  • Proven strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level business objectives into actionable, high-ROI marketing strategies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and resolve complex issues, especially regarding audience behavior and physical location.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and executive presence to influence senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Expert-level skills in venue sourcing, budget management, and white-glove hosting.
  • Deep proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools for data analysis.
