What you will do

• Ensure the 500 Words website is kept up to date with relevant competition details and create engaging content to inspire children.
• Support the producer in the smooth running of the competition including submissions, extensive judging and the verification processes.
• Support the delivery of the competition’s social media strategy, including drafting copy and optimising content for engagement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal hirify.global teams and external partners to maximise the reach and impact of 500 Words.
• Write compelling copy for newsletters and email campaigns to drive participation and awareness.
• Track promotional activity and support evaluation reporting, including reach and engagement metrics.

Requirements

• Experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external.
• Extensive digital skills including strong knowledge of using content management systems to create and curate web pages.
• Experience in using premier pro and photoshop to create digital content including short films and graphics for social platforms.
• Strong editorial judgement in generating ideas and creating content appropriate in style and tone for a school age audience and use in the classroom.
• Experience promoting content/campaigns including writing promotional copy for newsletters.
• Experience in analysing data to monitor performance of digital content and adapt as necessary.
