What you will do

• Design, code, test, debug, and document mainframe applications.
• Participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives and resolve production and application issues.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and enterprise standards.
• Contribute to planning and modernization efforts within the mainframe environment.
• Leverage AI tooling (e.g., Copilot) to enhance the development lifecycle efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong working expertise with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Proficiency with CA7 Scheduler, NDM, IBM Mainframe Utilities, SDSF, IBM SPUFI, and RACF Security.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Must be able to work Onsite/Hybrid in Charlotte, NC, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience within banking or financial services organizations.
• Exposure to enterprise compliance and regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
