Team Lead Backend Developer (Node.js)

TL;DR

Team Lead Backend Developer (Node.js): Leading a team in developing and optimizing end-to-end tech products with an accent on in-house platform development and 3rd party API integrations. Focus on technical leadership, delegating tasks, identifying and fixing technical problems, and actively participating in new feature development.

Location: Onsite in Belgrade, Serbia. Relocation support is provided for international candidates.

Salary: €6,400–€8,000/month net

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of backend developers, ensuring project completion to standard.
• Hire and train technical personnel, fostering a supportive team environment.
• Determine project requirements, develop work schedules, and delegate tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Actively participate in in-house platform development and new feature implementation.
• Integrate with 3rd party APIs.

Requirements

• Fluent level of English (C1/C2).
• At least 8+ years of experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
• 5+ years of commercial experience in web development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, ECMAScript 6, and commercial experience with databases (MySQL).
• Experience implementing REST and WebSockets.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript.
