What you will do

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
• Work with Doctrine ORM for efficient data modeling, entities, and migrations.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Optimize MySQL queries to improve database performance and resolve N+1 issues.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and collaborate with frontend developers and stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve backend issues to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime.

Requirements

• 3+ years of PHP experience with Symfony or a relevant project background
• Hands-on experience with Doctrine ORM.
• Solid MySQL skills, including schema understanding and basic optimization.
• Strong grasp of OOP, SOLID, and common design patterns.
• Proficiency in debugging with Xdebug and reading logs via ELK.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and GitFlow.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-load systems, Redis, and async processing.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and AWS cloud basics.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, or DDD.
• Experience using AI development tools like Claude Code or Codex.
